Allow me to introduce myself and welcome you to our Chamber! The Wellington Chamber of Commerce had an exceptional 2010 and is already off to a banner 2011!  We are experiencing tremendous growth as we continue to look to you, our membership to help us come up with new and innovative ways to make our Chamber a more complete working model for all of us.

Our successes are celebrated largely in part of the countless hours spent by all of those that believe in the chamber, including each one of YOU! The Wellington Chamber will continue to strive to enhance the business climate in the Village of Wellington.  The biggest “believer” is our own Board of Directors.  Their efforts in working with all of the other community entities that we partner with and keeping all of us informed to issues that impact the business community are invaluable.

As business leaders and the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, we feel it is imperative to take an active involvement in all aspects of our growth.

To that end, our new Chamber Board of Directors is in place leading committees designed to ease our transition into a destination capital and maintain our status as one of the top 100 places to live in the United States! Our healthy local industries of equestrian sports are being shepherded by a superior Equestrian Committee. The Business and Economic and Development Committee, Medical and Wellness Committee, Education, Technology, Government Affairs and our Ambassadorial Committees are consistently devising ways to capitalize on the growth to support our businesses and to safeguard our way of life. All committees are open to our membership and encourage involvement.

There are several opportunities to network monthly and promote your business/organization and services.  The Monthly Membership Luncheons are not to miss, our key-note speakers have been high- profile and informative as well as entertaining at times!   We have been fortunate to have state, local and county leaders to give us the information of government issues impacting business.  We have had local business leaders sharing their vision for the future of their business with their changes in ownership and management.

Our after hours networking receptions are held at exciting and innovative venues and those that are attending tell us it is a great time.  Also remember if you are seeing the benefit of the chamber refer your business neighbors and friends to the chamber, so that they can benefit as well!
